A six year-old girl was molested by a homeless man in an emergency Hurricane Michael shelter, police say.
John Stapleton, 60, was allegedly seen touching the youngster ‘in a lewd manner underneath her clothing’ by a woman who was also huddled in the shelter Thursday.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to Davidson Middle School in Okaloosa, which was being used to shelter residents, with Stapleton allegedly admitting he had touched the girl.

Michael smashed into the Florida panhandle Wednesday, bringing 150mph winds and 14ft storm surges that wrecked entire towns along the gulf coast.
So far, 13 people are reported to have been killed in the storm, with 1.1million homes and businesses stretching from Florida to Virginia still without power on Friday.
